La question des pertes agricoles et du gaspillage alimentaire est devenue essentielle.C’est dans ce contexte que nous avons l’honneur de présenter l’édition 2016 de Mediterra, qui aborde toutes ces problématiques du gaspillage et propose des solutions innovantes tout en suggérant des recommandations politiques pour la gestion durable des ressources naturelles, de la nourriture et des connaissances en Méditerranée.

The purpose of the sourcebook is to further elaborate the concept of CSA and demonstrate its potential, as well as limitations. It aims to help decision makers at a number of levels (including political administrators and natural resource managers) to understand the different options that are available for planning, policies and investments and the practices that are suitable for making different agricultural sectors, landscapes and food systems more climate-smart.

In many countries around the world, people living in rural areas have lower incomes and are generally less prosperous than their urban counterparts. Because of this, governments often attempt to promote rural development through the development of natural resources such as forests. This paper will attempt to describe some of the challenges of using forest resources for rural development in developing countries.

The intra and extra- sectorial influences on forestry are identified in this country paper, and actions that can be taken to steer forestry on a successful course are proposed.

This publication is part of a series of training materials on natural resources conflict management developed by FAOs Livelihood Support Programme. It supports the discussions presented in Negotiation and mediation techniques for natural resource management (2005) a conceptual guide by sharing recent, real-life experiences of Africans who have used the processes and principles of consensual negotiation and mediation to address natural resource conflicts.

Ce document est un rapport de capitalisation des acquis du Projet pilote d’économie et de valorisation de l’eau d’irrigation dans le périmètre des Doukkala (GCP/MOR/033/SPA) qui s’inscrit dans le cadre d’une convention de partenariat entre le Ministère de l’agriculture et de la pêche maritime du Maroc, la FAO et le Ministère de l’environnement et du milieu rural et marin espagnol (MARM).
