Indo-Global Social Service Society (IGSSS) is a non-profit organisation working with the mandate for a humane social order based on truth, justice, freedom and equity. Established in 1960, IGSSS works for development, capacity building and enlightenment of the vulnerable communities across the country for their effective participation in development.

Organização internacional que trabalha por justiça social, igualdade de gênero e pelo fim da pobreza. Fomos fundados em 1972 e estamos presentes em 45 países, alcançando mais de 15 milhões de pessoas no mundo. No Brasil desde 1999, atuamos em mais de 2.4 mil comunidades e beneficiamos mais de 300 mil pessoas. Trabalhamos em parceria com comunidades e organizações locais em projetos de educação, agroecologia e clima, igualdade de gênero e participação e democracia.

Somos uma organização brasileira, que faz parte de um movimento global contra a pobreza, a desigualdade e a injustiça. Após mais de 50 anos de atuação no Brasil, marcada por uma história de luta e compromisso com os direitos humanos e a democracia, surgiu, em 2014, a Oxfam Brasil, uma organização brasileira, afiliada à confederação Oxfam. A partir de 2015, a Oxfam Brasil inicia suas atividades, trabalhando com outras organizações da sociedade civil, na luta e compromisso pela construção de um país mais justo, sustentável e solidário.

Missão

O MMTR-NE nasceu na década de 80 a partir das reflexões e do intercâmbio de trabalhadoras rurais dos estados de Pernambuco e Paraíba. Com o intuito de superar as dificuldades na relação de gênero, as feministas rurais desses dois estados realizaram um encontro que reuniu mulheres de todo o Nordeste e contribui para que, em 1986, o Movimento da Mulher Trabalhadora Rural do Nordeste fosse construído.

The International Potato Center, known by its Spanish acronym CIP, was founded in 1971 as a root and tuber research-for-development institution delivering sustainable solutions to the pressing world problems of hunger, poverty, and the degradation of natural resources. CIP is truly a global center, with headquarters in Lima, Peru and offices in 20 developing countries across Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Working closely with our partners, CIP seeks to achieve food security, increased well-being, and gender equity for poor people in the developing world.

The National Commission for Women was set up as statutory body in January 1992 under the National Commission for Women Act, 1990 ( Act No. 20 of 1990 of Govt.of India ) to :

• review the Constitutional and Legal safeguards for women ;

• recommend remedial legislative measures ;

• facilitate redressal of grievances and

• advise the Government on all policy matters affecting women.

National Association for Women’s Action in Development (NAWAD) is a voluntary non-governmental women’s organisation that was initiated by a group of women and legally registered in 2010 with the Ugandan NGO board (S. 5914/8366).

Womankind Worldwide is a global women’s rights organisation working in solidarity and equal partnership with women’s rights organisations and movements to transform the lives of women.

Our vision is of a just world where the rights of all women are respected, valued and realised.

The Ministry of Rural Development and Land Reform (DRDLR) was created in 2009. For the first time in its history, the country would have a ministry dedicated to the social and economic development of rural South Africa; committed to ensuring that South Africans residing in rural areas enjoyed the same benefits as their urban cousins, so that that they too were covered by the blanket of human rights and basic dignity guaranteed in our Constitution.

Women's Land Link Africa (WLLA) is a joint regional partnership project that was launched in 2004. The WLLA was founded on the principal that all who are truly dedicated to improving the situation for women's land and housing rights (and to doing so in a manner which is both sustainable and stakeholder-driven) can and must link in complementary ways. The WLLA supports and strengthens linkages between regional stakeholders focused on improving women's access to, control over and ownership of land and housing in Africa. Working in isolation has rarely improved situations.
