The Act gives guidelines on land development taxation, which is exempt if the property is developed in connection with a sale. This Act imposes cadastre tax applicable to owners of properties in Copenhagen and Frederiksberg Municipality whereby its subdivision and land registry is equivalent to a taxation of 5 000 DKK for each property developed. Taxation under this Act shall be paid, although it is provided for remission of duty to public in other legislations.

The present Ordinance implements the Federal Land Register Ordinance in its version of 26 May 1994 (BGBl. I p. 1114). In particular, the Ordinance lays down provisions relating to a computerized land register in the Free State of Saxony. The present Law lays down provisions relating to official land survey and land cadastre in the Free State of Saxony. Article 1 establishes that the official land survey includes the: a) land survey; 2) land cadastre including cadastre survey and marking and 3)binding evidence of real-estate boundaries. The purpose of the present Ordinance is to enforce efficiently the Saxon Land Survey and Cadastre Law of 29 January 2008. The text – consisting of 22 articles – deals, inter alia, with the following aspects:announcement of land survey works, access to information, use of information from land survey database, requirements of the survey cadastre, border of parcels of land, marking, control of lower survey authorities, transfer of data, transitional provisions, entry into force and expiry.
