Resumen En la mayoría de los países de América Latina, los temas relacionados con la tenencia de tierras ocupan un lugar destacado en el programa político. En la búsqueda de soluciones para este problema, ha llamado considerablemente la atención en los últimos años el mecanismo de mercado como un sistema potencialmente capaz de producir una distribución más eficiente y equitativa no sólo de recursos, sino también de oportunidades económicas. Estos cambios se evidencian, por ejemplo, en recientes reformas legales importantes en Bolivia, México o Perú.

Land distribution in Latin America is characterized by striking inequality. Notwithstanding the emergence of modern structures in some regions, a few huge land holdings are found alongside a large number of small ones. This situation has long been considered undesirable for reasons of social equity as well as for reasons of efficiency. The topic remains high on the political agenda. The ultimately disappointing results of past redistributive reforms have caused contemporary policy-makers to search for alternatives.

La distribución de la tierra en América Latina se caracteriza por una notable asimetría. A pesar de que han surgido estructuras modernas en algunas regiones, junto a un número reducido de extensas propiedades se encuentra un gran número de unidades pequeñas, situación que desde hace tiempo se considera indeseable por razones de equidad y eficiencia. El tema sigue ocupando un lugar preferente en la agenda política. La frustración causada por los resultados de las reformas realizadas en el pasado con fines redistributivos ha llevado a las autoridades a buscar otras alternativas.

Resumen A juzgar por la abundante expedición de leyes y de normas orientadas a modificar la estructura agraria, desde la década de los treinta, Colombia da la impresión de haber estado persiguiendo la forma más adecuada de corregir las restricciones más apremiantes, relacionadas con la inequitativa e ineficiente distribución de la tierra, que limitan el desarrollo de su agricultura y el progreso económico y social de los habitantes del campo.

The article presents data concerning the results of introducing pilot projects in 6 villages of the Republic of Moldova in 2007-2009.As a result it was possible to accumulate the necessary experience for the extension of the se activities overall the country. Simultaneously, a number of difficulties and problems have been identified and without their elimination it will be difficult to accomplish these activities.

The study proposed in this article is devoted to the analysis of business process of the enterprises based on individual principles (agricultural farms) and to the determination of their role in Moldova’s agriculture development. The international practice, for a long time, demonstrated the efficacy and priority of the agricultural farms potential based on individual principles, mostly those of family type. In its turn, for Moldova’s agriculture, the individual form of enterprises is the closest to private ownership of agricultural land.

In this article the author has aimed a study on F.A.O. regarding historical aspects of formation F.A.O. as a specialized agency of the UN, analysis directions of its activity, its main functions etc. The author also aims to examine specific issues related to cooperation between F.A.O. and Moldova, directions and areas of cooperation, the development of these relations, the legislation which materializes the legal relations of collaboration and the benefits they had the Republic of Moldova as a result of collaboration with F.A.O.
