The present Law enforces the Federal Spatial Information Act of 5 October 2010. The Law lays down provisions relating to the enforcement of federal legislation in the field of geographic information and the collection, management and use of spatial data for the area of the canton Glarus. Furthermore, the Law creates conditions for a cantonal spatial data infrastructure.

La presente Ley tiene por objeto la creación del Registro Interactivo de Propiedades Públicas con Oportunidad de Desarrollo Económico o Conservación y Protección, con el fin de asegurar la mejor utilización de la propiedad pública y fomentar el desarrollo económico, urbano y social. These Rules, made under the Land Registration Act 2002, concern the validity of electronic documents for the creation, transfer, variation or extinction of estates and interests in land. Documents created within the Land Registry’s computer system, and authenticated by means of digital signature, shall be valid at specified conditions.

This Order establishes criteria for valuation of agricultural land by State Committee on Land Resources, Geodesy, Cartography and Land Cadastre with the consideration of data recorded in state land cadastre and other registration authorities, including valuation of irrigation and drainage systems located on agricultural land. The purpose of valuation shall be to determine standard cost of agricultural land. Agricultural land shall be valued by quality and location independently from its real use in tillage or for fodder production. Land evaluation shall be calculated per 1 ha.

This Order establishes that Federal State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography Service shall carry out cadastre division of the national territory establishing and changing cadastre districts for the purpose of assigning cadastre numbers to the objects of immovable property. Location of the boundaries of the objects of immovable property shall be established in accordance with the coordinates used for keeping state land cadastre within the respective area.

The present Law lays down provisions relating to land use planning and construction in the Canton of Lucerne. Article 2 establishes that the competent authorities shall take into account principles of the federal legislation.
