Odisha is one of the federal States of the Union of India which came into existence from 1936. The Government of Odisha has number of Departments under it, like the Ministry in case of Government of India, to deal with administration and governance of the State of Odisha. As land is under the State list of the Constitution of India, Revenue and Disaster Management Department of the Government of Odisha has been mainly dealing with matters related to land.

A CMP é fruto de um processo histórico de resistência e dos movimentos sociais populares, em especial das lutas sociais dos anos 1980. Foi fundada no I Congresso Nacional de Movimentos Populares, realizado de 28 a 31 de outubro de 1993, realizado em Belo Horizonte-MG.

Constituímos hoje um grupo que funciona como um instituto virtual, reunindo hoje 159 pesquisadores (dos quais 97 principais) e 59 instituições dos campos universitário (programas de pós-graduação), governamental (fundações estaduais e prefeitura) e não-governamental, sob a coordenação geral do IPPUR - Instituto de Pesquisa e Planejamento Urbano e Regional da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.

The Cloudburst Group (also known as Cloudburst Consulting Group) was founded in 2005 and is a registered small business providing management consulting services to public and private clients in the United States and internationally. We are a mission-driven organization, focused on providing solutions for issues around land, housing, and health. We are headquartered in the Washington DC area–in Landover, Maryland–with a network of satellite offices and consultants spread across the globe.

A team of bachelors students from the 2016-2019 class of the European Law School Programme working with data collected by students from the 2017-2020 class of the European Law School Programme with the aim of creating a summary of the land laws for multiple countries.

The team consists of: Bert Brookfield-Hird, Alexandra Aldous, Lisa Beatrice Ferrari, Doris Beganović, Magda Jacyna and Ines Garreau.

Community Land Scotland was established in 2010 as a response to the need for a collective voice for community landowners in Scotland. It is a company limited by guarantee with charitable status.

Our current membership includes Scottish community landowners – owning and managing approx. 500,000 acres between them – and aspiring community landowners of varying shapes and sizes throughout Scotland.

PRIndex, the Global Property Rights Index, is a collaborative initiative between Global Land Alliance and the Overseas Development Institute (with staff from both organisations working on the project alongside expert consultants), that aims to develop and roll out the first global measurement of peoples’ perceptions of their property rights.

LandNNES is the Land Network National Engagement Strategy in South Africa. It operates as a consultative civil society platform which brings together members with a common medium-long term perspective to create a force that increases possibilities for People Centered Land Governance.

The goal of all LANDNNES processes is to:

A revista Desenvolvimento e Meio Ambiente é editada pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Meio Ambiente e Desenvolvimento (PPGMADE) da Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR). Os principais objetivos da revista são publicar artigos de qualidade sobre temas socioambientais nos âmbitos local, nacional e internacional e divulgá-los amplamente em vários circuitos acadêmicos. PCC is a Mongolian NGO established in 2006, which aims to promote the protection of natural resources through support to the activities of local residents and civil society, with a strong commitment to addressing issues for gender equality and vulnerable groups.

Values

The Interlaken Group is an informal network of individual leaders from influential companies, investors, CSOs, government and international organizations. The purpose of the Group is to expand and leverage private sector action to secure community land rights. Together they develop, adopt and disseminate new tools and advance new “pre-competitive” mechanisms to accelerate private sector learning on responsible land rights practices.

The International Planning Committee for Food Sovereignty (IPC) is an autonomous and self-organised global platform of small-scale food producers and rural workers organizations and grass root/community based social movements to advance the Food Sovereignty agenda at  the global and regional level.

More than 6000 organizations and 300 millions of small-scale food producers self organize themselves through the IPC, sharing the Food Sovereignty principles as outlined in the  Nyeleni 2007 Declaration* (paragraph) + 6 pillars of the synthesis report.
