The present Law establishes legal bases for the concession of state, municipal and private land in lease and lease relations. Lease land means fixed-date land tenancy on contractual basis. The present Law regulates leasing relations in the Azerbaijan Republic, determines rights and obligations of subjects of leasing contract. The document consists of V Secs. that contain 16 Arts. Section I (arts. 1-3) lays down general provisions. Section II (art. 4) specifies the forms of leasing activity. Section III (Arts. 5-8) regards leasing contract. This Act concerns the management of Crown lands, i.e. all or any part of the lands vested in the Crown that are under the administration and control of the Minister and includes any water upon or under the surface of such lands and of forest and forest resources. The Act provides for surveys, for alienation and acquisition of land, including leases of Crown lands and acquisition of land by the Minister. This Agreement consists of 14 articles and it shall be subject to the provisions of Reciprocal Encouragement and Protection of Investment between the two Parts (art. 1). The Government of Sudan shall grant to the Government of Syria a land for exploitation located in Abu Quta-Province Alhsahisa situated in the State of Aljazeera with an area of 30,000 Faddan without any restriction rights (art. 2). The exploitation of the aforementioned land shall be valid for 50 years (art. 3).
