Se trata del caso del Consejo Comunitario comunidad negra de Pilamo y Palenque, reconocido como territorio por ley, a partir de procesos de ocupación pacífica de ttierras, negociación de compra de las mismas por parte del Estado y la correspondiente adjudicación.
Es el caso del Cabildo Indígena del Resguardo de Corinto, que accede colectivamente a su territorio ancestral a través de procesos de recuperación de tierras de la mano del Estado, y también, mediante compra convencional de tierras, para añadirlas al espacio comunitario.
El caso del Grupo Centurión hace referencia al acceso colectivo de ocho asalariados rurales y pequeños productores rurales a un campo ganadero en régimen de pastoreo en la frontera noreste de Uruguay con Brasil, a través del Instituto Nacional de Colonización (INC).
