A lucrative plot of Tashkent land belonging to a major Uzbek steel plant has been sold to a company close to President Shavkat Mirziyoev’s son-in-law, at a fraction of its market value, documents showed.

• The premium on parcels of land in eight major cities that completed their first round of auctions for the year was up from 2021
• Most of the winning bids in the latest auctions have come from state-owned developers

According to Prof Abdul Shakoor Shah, Pakistan is the most urbanized nation in South Asia. The Real Estate industry in Pakistan was instigated from Karachi. It subsisted even before partition. Property tycoons constructed buildings but the selling of plots was atypical. The industry started progressing in the 1950s and DHA came into being.

In Bangladesh, one in every seven people will be displaced due to climate change by the end of 2050, according to recent estimation. Sea level rise may cause the displacement of up to 18 million people of Bangladesh. Natural disasters are another reason for displacement where 700,000 people on average migrate every year according to the Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre. In 2009, cyclone Aila displaced millions of people and many agricultural lands submerged with saline water.

Les conservateurs entendent se donner les moyens de répondre efficacement au boom du marché foncier marqué par l’explosion des demandes d’actes.

Harare, Zimbabwe – Chengeto Tapfuma, 59, has become accustomed to pain and loss.

Three years ago, she lost her only daughter after a long illness and became the sole provider for her four grandchildren, who are now aged between eight and 13.

The oldest will start secondary school in Harare’s Budiriro suburb, close to where they live, next year.
