En el marco de la Estrategia Decenal de la Convención de las Naciones Unidas de Lucha Contra la Desertificación y la Sequía (E-10/CNULD), Guinea Ecuatorial aprobó el presente Programa de Acción Nacional de Lucha Contra la Desertificación y Sequía (PAN-LCD). Se trata de un instrumento programático de alcance nacional y relativo al período 2016-2025, cuya meta es lograr que Guinea Ecuatorial tenga las capacidades y condiciones necesarias para manejar las tierras de una manera sostenible que contribuya a aumentar la productividad y las funciones de los ecosistemas.

La présente loi énonce des règles concernant la prévention et la réduction intégrées de la pollution due aux activités industrielles. Elle prévoit également des règles visant à éviter ou, lorsque cela s’avère impossible, à réduire les émissions dans l’air, l’eau et le sol, et à empêcher la production de déchets, afin d’atteindre un niveau élevé de protection de l’environnement considéré dans son ensemble.

This Act provides with respect to regularisation of unapproved developments in the Nairobi City County, including unauthorized development on public lands.

The Government of the Russian Federation and the administration of the Nizhni Novgorod Region have agreed as follows: 1) The present Agreement establishes delimitation of authority as regards management of the objects of historical and cultural heritage pertaining to state property situated on the territory of the Nizhni Novgorod Region. 2) The objects of historical and cultural heritage pertaining to federal property situated on the territory of the Nizhni Novgorod Region are included in the list supplied in the Annex to the present Agreement.

This Law, consisting of 80 articles divided into XIII Chapters, provides for the spatial management within Republic of Indonesia, based on the following principles: a) integrity; b) compatibility, harmony and balance; c) sustainability; d) productivity and profitability; e) openness; f) togetherness and partnership; g) protection of public interest; h) legality and justice; and i) accountability.

This Act concern environmental assessment as a means to integrating environmental factors into planning and decision making processes in order to promote sustainable development. The Act contains provisions on the projects requiring environmental assessment (sect. 4), on the environmental assessment process (sect. 10), on decisions and appeals against decisions and on dispute settlement. Under section 49, the Yukon Environmental Assessment Branch is established and its organization, powers and duties are set in the following sections.

The Government decrees that the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resource and its territorial branches is especially authorized environmental institution.

This Law provides for the conservation of wetlands and their flora and fauna, especially waterfowl, by combining far-sighted national policies with coordinated international action. Wetlands are areas of marsh, fen or water, whether natural or artificial, with water that is static or flowing, fresh, brackish or salt; waterfowl are birds ecologically dependent on wetlands.

El presente Decreto aprueba el Reglamento de la Ley que tiene por objeto regular el uso y aprovechamiento sostenible y garantizar el acceso de la población a las zonas costeras marinas y lacustres, mediante los planes de desarrollo coordinados institucionalmente por la Comisión Nacional de Desarrollo de las Zonas Costeras (CDZC).

La presente Ley tiene por objeto establecer las disposiciones que regirán el proceso general para la planificación y gestión de la ordenación del territorio, en concordancia con las realidades ecológicas y los principios, criterios, objetivos estratégicos del desarrollo sustentable, que incluyan la participación ciudadana y sirvan de base para la planificación del desarrollo endógeno, económico y social de la nación.

Recently, droughts have become widespread in the Northern Hemisphere, including in Mongolia. The ground surface condition, particularly vegetation coverage, affects the occurrence of dust storms. The main sources of dust storms in the Asian region are the Taklimakan and Mongolian Gobi desert regions. In these regions, precipitation is one of the most important factors for growth of plants especially in arid and semi-arid land. The purpose of this study is to clarify the relationship between precipitation and vegetation cover dynamics over 29 years in the Gobi region.

Accounting for one quarter of China’s land area, the endorheic Shiyang River basin is a vast semi-arid to arid region in China’s northwest. Exploring the impact of changes in land use on this arid area’s carbon budget under global warming is a key component to global climate change research. Variation in the region’s soil carbon storage due to land use changes occurring between 1973 and 2012 was estimated. The results show that land use change has a significant impact on the soil carbon budget, with soil carbon storage having decreased by 3.89 Tg between 1973 and 2012.
