These Regulations, made under the Survey Act 1992, consisting of 27 sections divided into three Parts and completed by one Appendix, is composed as follows: Preliminary (I); Licences and registrations (II); and Survey instructions (III). The Appendix specifies divisional penalties and expiation fees.

Regional Law No. 8-3494 “On composition, elaboration and modification of land-use planning scheme”.

This Regional Law determines composition, elaboration and modification of the regional land-use planning scheme. Land-use planning project shall include regulations on territorial planning and mapping of objects projected for location, description and characteristics of land areas and names of urban, municipal districts and inhabited areas. Monitoring of land-use planning schemes shall include state of environment and environmental protection arrangements.

These Regulations, in implementing provisions of the Land Surveyors Act, make further provision for registration and qualification of land surveyors and establish rules for carrying out land surveys. Regulations 3 to 5 specify qualifications, whereas regulation 6 concerns registration. A Code of Ethics is laid down in the Third Schedule. Regulation 25 and following contain rules on the carrying out of surveys and the drawing of up land survey plans.

This Act sets conditions for the exercise of land survey activities. In order to fulfill this capacity, a person must be of legal age, is not under bankruptcy, has passed the Danish surveyor exam and has at least 3 years’ experience following the surveying exam, and has participated in the commonly occurring cadastral works by recruitment from a practicing surveyor – either by Survey and Cadastre Authority of the Jutland department or cadastral authority in Copenhagen and Frederiksberg Municipality.

The purpose of the present Law is to enforce the directive 2007/2/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 March 2007 establishing an Infrastructure for Spatial Information in the European Community (INSPIRE). In particular, the Law provides the legal framework for the development and operation of a spatial data infrastructure system in the Land Berlin as part of the national spatial data infrastructure.

This Act makes provision with respect to Rural District Councils. The Act also concerns the declaration of districts by the President and classification of lands in Districts by the Minister for purposes of this Act.The Act makes provision for functions, powers, proceedings and organization of Rural District Councils. Rural District Councils shall have functions and powers in the fields of natural resources management, matters concerning land in a District, water, fisheries, forestry, sewerage and protection of the environment.

This Ministerial Decree sets forth the modalities for the accurate determination and mapping of coastlines. The crossline between the surface of surface waterbodies (seas, lakes, rivers, ponds and water reservoirs) and the surface of dry land over a specified period of time shall delineate the coastline. Coastline of seas, lakes, rivers and water reservoirs can be permanent and steady; and impermanent and unsteady (average multiyear level). The coastline of the Caspian Sea shall be determined according to its average multiyear level.

Regional Decree No. 72-PP “On the modalities of performance of municipal land control”.

This Regional Decree establishes the modalities of performance of municipal land control by local government. Municipal land control shall be conducted in the form of ordinary and extraordinary inspections of legal persons and individual entrepreneurs. The subject of inspection shall be checking data and information contained in the documentation related to land tenure. The scope of inspection shall be to control compliance by land tenant with compulsory legislative requirements related to land tenure with a view of prevention and suppression of unauthorized transactions with land.
