This Ministerial Decision implements the Decree that regulates the right of use and conditions for exploiting public land by establishing the procedures for consultation with the local communities on the use and property rights of land. The local community's consultation includes two phases. The first is a public meeting in order to provide information to the local community on the application for acquisition of land use rights and the identification of the boundaries of the parcel. The second relates to the duration of the consultation.

Resolution No. 38/2012 establishing Special Plan requirements for Land Planning within the Province of Tete.

This Resolution, consisting of 6 articles and 1 Table, establishes Special Plan requirements for Land Planning within the Province of Tete. It specifies Strategic Environmental Impact Assessment of the Zambesi Valley and part of its Basin, in particular applies for the following districts: Guro, Tambara, Chemba, Caia, Marromeu, Morrumbala, Mopeia and Chinde. This Resolution also establishes patterns and conditions for natural resources and areas use with special and different characteristics.

This Regulation provides procedures for making effective use of state land from abandoned land (TCUN).The Regulation provides for: the availability of TCUN; certainty that the land is not in a physical or judicial dispute; the safeguard of TCUN so as to protect and prevent it from being occupied, cultivated and controlled by new cultivators; the appropriation of control, ownership and use of TCUN; TCUN database; supervision and control of the effective use of TCUN; etc.

The present Order enacts the Mines and Minerals Act. Section 1 establishes that under subsections 14(1) and (3) of the Mines and Minerals Act, the Minister withdraws, inter alia, from prospecting and staking out and from lease: a) all mineral rights, the property of the Crown, within the area of the lands described in Schedule A; b) all sand and gravel rights, the property of the Crown, within the area of the lands described in Schedule B; c) all potash rights, the property of the Crown, within the area of the lands described in Schedule C. Seven Schedules are enclosed.

Perpetuities and Accumulations Act 1989.

This Act modifies the law relating to the avoidance of future interests in property on grounds of remoteness and governing accumulations of income from property. The rule against perpetuities shall not apply to an option to acquire for valuable consideration an interest on the term of a lease if: (a) the option is exercisable only by the lessee or his or her successors in title, and (b) it ceases to be exercisable at or before the expiration of one year following the determination of the lease.

This Act makes provision for the registration of title in land and defines effects of registration of title. The Act also provides other rules relative to dealings in land. Land in respect of which title has been registered under this Act may not be transferred, mortgaged, leased or otherwise dealt with, and an instrument that purports to deal with such land shall not be registered, except in accordance with this Act. Rights in land shall be registered with the Registrar of Titles of Norfolk Island.

This Act makes provision for the protection of the environment and vegetation and provides rules to environmental sanitation and physical planning and development. It shall promote the conservation of the natural environment and landscape beauty of Norfolk Island and to ensure, so far as is practicable, that physical works and other activities are in harmony with the natural environment. The Act establishes the Norfolk Island Planning Board. The Board shall consider applications for authorization of activities for which approval is required under this Act.
