The present Law regulates conditions and modalities of ownership, use and disposal of immovables as well as relations regarding other rights relayed to immovables. Relations connected with use and conservation of soil, subsoil, forests, vegetable kingdom and wildlife, water, airspace, territories on which monuments pertaining to cultural heritage are situated are regulated by the present Law and other legislative acts of the Republic of Armenia. Legal status of immovables regards also marine, fluvial-marine and fluvial vessels subject to compulsory state registration.

This Law consists of VI sections subdivided into XIX chapters that contain 123 Articles. Section I lays down the general provisions. It comprehends Chapters I - II that contain Articles 1-13. Section II regulates ownership and other rights of property on land. It comprehends Chapters III-IX that contain Articles 14-75. Section III gives the classification of the types of land. It comprehends Chapters 10-16 that contain Articles 76-102. Section IV regards protection of land, state control, land survey, land monitoring and land cadastre.

Decree No. 147 of 1992 (XI. 6.) Korm. of the Government concerning the registration and data reporting system of immovable properties of municipalities.

This Decree provides that municipalities shall create a cadastre registering all their immovable properties and keep it updated. The content of cadastre is also addressed.

Le Code foncier et domanial est un document détaillé qui définit les lois fondamentales de la propriété privée et publique et d'autres droits réels, et la transmission de ces dits droits. Le droit de propriété est absolu de principe, et ne peut être limité que par des dispositions prévues par la loi (art. 2). La loi donne une liste des autres droits réels (art. 14). Parmi ceux-ci figure une convention de longue durée, de quinze à quatre-vingt-dix-neuf ans, susceptible d'hypothèque (art. 17 à 27).

This Decree establishes that the forms of Certificate of landownership can be used provisionally, till the issues of the state legal form, as a document for lifelong ownership valid for inheritance and limitless (permanent) land lease. This Decree validates the forms of Certificate of landownership, Contract of tenancy for agricultural land, Contract of temporal leasehold of agricultural land. The forms of these documents are supplied in Annexes.

Law on Land Reform in the Cities of the Republic of Latvia (1991)

The Law prescribes the procedures for performance of the land reform in the cities of the Republic of Latvia. The objective of the land reform is to reorganise the legal, social and economic relationships of a land property and the use of land in cities during the gradual denationalisation, conversion, privatisation of State property and unlawfully alienated land properties in order to promote formation of city building corresponding to the interests of society, protection and rational utilisation of land.

The present Law lays down provisions relating to the managEent of land registers in the Land of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Article 1 establishes that land registries have to be kept by the tribunals of first instance and that the relevant Land Registry Ordinance is to be applied. The text consists of 6 articles as follows: Competence (1); Employees of the Land Registry Office and their responsibility (2); Establishment and management of the Land Registry (3); Mining Property Register (4); transitional provisions (5); Entry into force (5).

Survey and Cadastre Law.

The present Law lays down provisions relating to land survey and land cadastre. Article 1 establishes that the Land is responsible for land survey and land cadastre. The text – consisting of 25 articles – deals, amongst others, with the following aspects: perception of tasks, tasks of regional survey, content, purpose, principle and parts of land cadastre, data transmission, duties of land owners, entry into land, marking of boarder lines, publication of survey results, implementation and penalties.

The Land Registration Rules under Section 16 of the Land Registration Act set forth procedures and principles of land registration. Registers shall be in the appropriate form prescribed in Schedule 1. A land certificate and a certificate of lease shall be in the appropriate form prescribed in Schedule 2. Other forms required to be used under the Act shall be as prescribed in Schedule 3.

This Act makes provision with respect to the creation and registration of leases. There shall be a Land Leases Register for the registration of each lease required to be registered by this Act. The Act defines various conditions applying to a registered lease and the effects of registration. Other provisions of this Act concern other titles in land such as mortgages and easements, co-ownership, transmission, trusts, and cautions.
