The purpose of the present Law is to regulate land use planning in the Canton of Schaffhausen. Article 41 shall be amended to add the following wording: “Making entries to state land cadastre and modification of entries shall be performed free of charge. Release of entries from state land cadastre shall require payment of fees, except for cases envisaged by this Law”.

This Act provides rules for acquisition land in the public interest, including compulsory acquisition, and related matters such as claims to compensation, examination of land and the taking possession of land, registration of interest in land and (effects of) withdrawal from acquisition. Where the Minister is of the opinion that it is necessary to acquire any land in the public interest and that there is reasonable justification for causing any hardship to any person who has an interest in the land, the Minister may acquire that land in accordance with this Act.

La presente Ley tiene por objeto la creación y el funcionamiento de la Comisión Investigadora para el Relevamiento de Transferencias de Tierras Rurales en el ámbito de la Provincia de Río Negro, entre cuyas funciones se contemplan las siguientes: a) requerir a las autoridades registrales de la provincia todos los antecedentes dominiales y catastrales de las transferencias operadas sobre tierras pertenecientes al Estado Provincial; b) elaborar un informe detallado de las transferencias de tierras rurales que hayan pertenecido a la Provincia de Río Negro.

This Act concerns the registration of freehold land and other interests in freehold land and it consists of 211 sections and is divided into 12 Parts. Part 2 concerns the administration of the Act, provides for the operation of the land registry and specifies the functions and powers of the registrar. Part 3 is dedicated to the operation of the freehold land register, while Part 4 concerns the registration of land. Part 5 covers the registration of joint holders in lots and Part 6 regulates dealings directly affecting lots, including transferring and lease.

The Chairman of the Central Housing and Planning Authority shall keep a register of all persons defined by this Act as landlords, i.e. any person who under any tenancy is entitled to rents and profits of land or buildings. Every landlord shall register as a landlord within two months of the commencement of the tenancy. Applications for registration shall be made in the form set out in the Schedule. The State shall be exempted from registration as a landlord. Other provisions of this Act deal with transfer of registration or amendments in the register.
