These Regulations amend for England the Access to the Countryside (Exclusions and Restrictions) (England) Regulations 2003 in relation to access to land which is coastal margin. They amend provisions relating to: directions under sections 24 or 25 of the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000; consultation on proposals for long-term exclusions or restrictions; and the right to request site inspection as part of an appeal.

These Regulations implement provisions of the Beach Control Act for the control of activities affecting beaches and inshore waters of Seychelles. The Regulations place restrictions on water skiing, use of motorboats and similar activities, provides for the control of activities above the low-water mark and the appointment of beach wardens and inspectors.

These Regulations designate a coastal area as a Special Protection Area in accordance with Article 4 of Directive 2009/147/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the Conservation of Wild Birds. The purpose is to ensure protection from disturbance, capture and damage to nests and eggs under Article 5 of the Directive for all species of birds, not just the birds listed on Schedule 3 (with the exception of those birds covered under Articles 7 for hunting and 9, where derogations are listed).

The provisions of this Chapter concern the administration of the American Samoa Coastal Management Program adopted under the American Samoa Coastal Management Act of 1990. The Act mandates the establishment of a system of environmental review at territorial level intended to ensure that environmental concerns are given appropriate consideration in the land use decision-making process.

These Regulations prescribe the fees payable, and the methods and rates by which fees are to be assessed, for the consideration and processing of applications made under sections 35, 38(3), 39(1), 40(1), 43, 43(5) and 44(3) of the Act. The fees relate to: applications for interests in reclaimed land; applications to vary a determination that relates to whether an interest in reclaimed land is to be granted and any terms and conditions relating to the interest or grant; the vesting of interests in reclaimed land; applications for renewal of interests less than freehold; etc.

The present Regulations are made under section 13 of the Beaches Act. The Regulations lay down provisions relating to the safeguard of beaches. Section 4 establishes that the the Minister may enter into a management agreement with the owner or occupier of land adjacent to a beach. Section 7 lists activities which are prohibited on a beach, such as remove mineral, fossil, sand, gravel or other object of natural interest. The text consists of 15 sections.

This Decree, in implementation of the Act on land use and building, provides for land use planning and assessment and monitoring of impact on the environment of planned activities. Article 1 lists environmental features that must be taken into account in regional land use planning. The Ministry of the Environment shall organize the monitoring of the state and development of land use and the built environment, and the maintenance of the necessary database. Preparation of national land-use objectives shall be organized so as to allow for public debate and interaction.

These Regulations designate a coastal area as a Special Protection Area in accordance with Article 4 of Directive 2009/147/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the Conservation of Wild Birds. The purpose is to ensure survival and reproduction of all species of birds to which Article 4 relates and in particular those listed in Schedule 3 to these Regulations. Schedule 4 lists activities that require the consent of the Minister and may cause disturbance or damage to birds protected under Schedule 3.

This Presidential Decree, consisting of 2 Chapters, regulates spatial planning for public lands within the coastal area of the Province of Luanda transferring them to the private sector, according to Law No. 9/98. In particular, it regulates the public coastal lands and public territories within the maritime areas destined to the settlement of infrastructures and support equipments, not only limited for beach facilities, but also for the entire marine coastal zones within the Province of Luanda.

This Decree of Environment, which is composed of three articles and three Annexes, provides details on the content, review and update of plans of flood risk management. The content of the first flood risk management plan is specified in Annex 1. The content of the update of flood risk management plan is given in Annex 2. The present Decree describes also the international flood risk management plan which is prepared for rivers common with neighbouring countries.
