This Decree, consisting of 10 articles, creates the Land Regularization Programme for Rural Land in the State of Rio Grande do Sul. This Land Regularization Programme aims at legitimizing land tenure and granting the right to use vacant rural lands, such as: those lands not included in the Union; those belonging to the domain of the State, are not used by the Public Power or intended for specific administrative purposes, and those that, not belonging to the domain of the Union, and are not in the private domain by any legitimate title.

Section 1 shall be amended to add the following wording: “Land-use planning of urban territory shall be aimed at ensuring environmental security, sanitary, epidemiological and technical safety of urban areas, improvement of the state of natural environment, historical and cultural heritage, conservation of natural ecosystems, prevention of ecological and technological disasters and protection of public health”.

These Regulations amend the Compulsory Purchase of Land (Prescribed Forms) (National Assembly for Wales) Regulations 2004 by inserting new Form 9A and replacing Forms 10 and 11. The amendments apply in relation to a compulsory purchase order which is made by the Welsh Ministers or which is subject to confirmation by the Welsh Ministers. Form 9a concerns the Statement of Effect of Parts 2 and 3 of The Compulsory Purchase (Vesting Declarations) Act 1981.

This paper describes the development of a Land Information Management System (LIMS) for County Governments in Kenya. In the new Constitution 2010, devolution of some national government functions and formation of county governments was provided for. These invoked the development of new land laws to guide the devolution processes and procedures. According to the County Government Act 2012, all County Governments are supposed to develop digital Geographic Information System (GIS) based spatial plans and these calls for development of LIMS for and efficient breakthrough.
