Cette loi porte l'institution, la composition et l'organisation des agences urbaines, établissements publics soumis à la tutelle de l'Etat chargés,entre autre, de collaborer à la réalisation et à la programmation des schémas directeurs d'aménagement et des projets d'aménagement urbains.

Cette loi porte Code de l'aménagement du territoire et de l'urbanisme, dont les dispositions fixent les règles à suivre pour l'organisation et l'exploitation optimales de l'espace, la planification, la création et le développement des agglomérations urbaines. Le code comprend 89 articles répartis en 5 titres, à savoir: Aménagement du territoire (I); Plans d'aménagement urbain (II); Opérations d'aménagement urbain (III); Sanctions (IV) et Dispositions transitoires (V).

Cette loi porte une série de dispositions relatives à l'aménagement et au développement du territoire. Elle a pour objet la mise en valeur et le développement équilibré du territoire de la République, afin d'assurer, à chaque citoyen, l'égalité des chances sur l'ensemble du territoire et de créer les conditions de leur égal accès au savoir.

This Legislative Decree aims at land and environmental planning. The present Decree is composed of 20 articles. Article 1 deals with terms and definitions. Article 2 specifies the scope of this Decree. Article 3 defines requirements and conditions for the division of land. Article 4 decrees that the division of land or amendment of division should be adopted by the Ministry of Housing in accordance with provisions of this Decree and of its Implementing Regulations. This Law refers to a strategy on tourism development which is to be proposed by the Ministry of Tourism and approved by the Council of Ministers. On the basis of the strategy, urban planning studies are to be carried out for the identification of zones to be promoted for tourism.A Tourism Development Committee made up of representatives of various ministries may approve applications for activities to be promoted.

La presente Ley dicta normas sobre planes de desarrollo municipal, compraventa y expropiación de bienes y otras disposiciones. Entiende por espacio público el conjunto de inmuebles públicos y los elementos arquitectónicos y naturales de los inmuebles privados, destinados por su naturaleza, por su uso o afectación, a la satisfacción de necesidades urbanas colectivas que trascienden, por tanto, los límites de los intereses individuales de los habitantes.

This Act makes provision for the protection of the environment of a broad sense. Its provisions are divided into Titles, the major part of them dealing with specific aspects of environment protection.Title I makes provision with respect to air and noise pollution.Purpose Title II to prescribe management guidelines aimed to protect and improve the quality of Philippine water resources.

This Act provides for the acquisition of lands for public purposes, meaning any purpose declared by the Governor to be a public purpose.

The Statute consists of 109 sections and three Schedules.

The Act provides in Part II for the establishment of a Planning Board (sect. 3) and Planning Authority for each planning district (sect. 5). There shall be 4 types of draft plans for spatial development of land. These are: National Plans; Divisional Plans; Development Plans and Local Plans (sect. 8). The Board shall prepare a National Plan for the Gambia. The Board shall also draft Division Plans for each Division of the Gambia (sect. 11). The Board shall, within the framework of the plans aforementioned, prepare development plans for the area covered by that plan.

This Act concerns the establishment of the Kathmandu Valley Development Authority, whose functions shall pertain to land use planning, the development in land-use areas and the prescription of methods of construction works, the formulation and implementation for the development and maintenance of cultural heritage, the protection and conservation of the environment and natural resources. Subsequent sections establish all the powers given to the Authority in connection with its functions.

The present Law implements various articles of the Federal Land Consolidation Act in its consolidated version of 16 March 1976 (BGBl. I p. 546). In particular, the Law establishes the competent authorities responsible for the enforcement of the above-mentioned Federal Act.
