This Act makes provision for the control of mining and related operations in the Fiji Islands.The Act consists of 68 sections divided into 7 Parts: General (I); Prospecting and mining (II); Damage and compensation (III); Registration, approval and stamping of documents (IV); Miscellaneous (V); Penalties (VI); Regulations (VII).All minerals of every description, including crude oil,shall be deemed always to have been the property of the Crown and shall be deemed not to have been parted with under any alienation, dedication, lease, licence or permit of such lands save in so far as such rights

The High Commissioner may declare, by Proclamation, any area of land to be a national park under section 3, and may acquire private land with the area declared to be a national park pursuant to section 4. Sections 5 and 6 place restrictions on residence in parks. No person shall hunt in national park, but fishing is allowed and hunting for the preservation of species is allowed. Various other activities are prohibited in a national park.

Its policy objective is to promote the appropriate and efficient use of soil and water resources, protect water quality, prevent floodwater and sediment damage, preserve wildlife, protect public lands, and protect and promote the health, safety, and general welfare of the people of this state. The Chapter creates soil and water conservation districts.

This Article of the Agriculture and Markets Law of New York provides for sale of agricultural liming materials. "Agricultural liming material" is defined as all materials and all calcium and magnesium products in the oxide, hydrate, carbonate or silicate form or combinations thereof and intended for use in the correction of soil acidity, including such forms of material designated as burned lime, hydrated lime, carbonate of lime, agricultural limestone, slag and marl.

Bolivia - National Land Administration Project
