This Chapter of the Florida Statutes provides for soil and water conservation. Its policy objective is to promote the appropriate and efficient use of soil and water resources, protect water quality, prevent floodwater and sediment damage, preserve wildlife, protect public lands, and protect and promote the health, safety, and general welfare of the people of this state. The Chapter creates soil and water conservation districts.

This Act provides for the establishment of subordinate courts to the High Court in each District, and provides with respect to the jurisdiction, proceedings and administration of such courts. There shall be three classes of subordinate courts for each District. Subordinate courts may transfer proceedings at any stage to a Local Court.
