Land Delimitation Law.

The present Law lays down provisions relating to the delimitation of land. Section 1 establishes that the purpose of delimitation is to make visible borders of land parcels by marking devices. The text consists of 27 sections divided into7 Parts as follows: General provisions (1); Rights and duties of owners and lessees (2); Experts on border markers (3); Provisions on proceedings (4): Costs of delimitation (5); Legal action and penalties(6); Final and transitioal provisions (7).

The present Regulation enacts the Land Transfer Tax Act. The Regulation lays down provisions relating to land lease. Section 1 establishes that where an instrument containing an extension or notice of extension of the rights under a lease or sublease is registered at a time when the term of such lease or sublease including any renewals or extensions, but without regard to the extension to be registered, exceeds fifty years, the value of the consideration in respect to such extension shall be reduced. The text consists of 3 sections.

Ordinance on inclusion of land of the Canton, the districts and communities, as well as church property in the land register.

Ordinance on land consolidation.

The present Ordinance enforces the Land Use Planning and Building Law of 1 May 1988. Article 1 establishes that land consolidations shall be effected in view of building land, land not designed as such shall be re-allocated. The text - consisting of 19 articles – deals with the following aspects: definition of terms, purpose of land consolidation, survey, principles of allocation, costa, administrative proceedings, legal protection and entry into force.

Land (Group Representatives) (Prescribed Provisions) Order.

This Order prescribes, in the Schedule to the Order: matters that must be included in a constitution of every group in respect of which a certificate of incorporation of the group representatives is issued by the registrar under section 7 of the Land (Group Representatives) Act; and matters that shall be deemed to be included in such constitution (in the Second and Third Schedule). The registrar may, by writing under his hand, exempt any specified group from all or any of the provisions contained in the Second Schedule subject to such conditions if any, as he or she may think fit.

This Decree lays down basic provisions on land. All land in the State of Lao PDR is the property of the national community. The State manages the land on a centralized and unanimous basis at the national level (art. 1).This Decree is composed of five Chapters, i.e.: Land and Property over Land (1); Right of Possession and Use of Land (2); Management and use of each Type of Land (3); Measures against Offenders (4); Organization and Implementation (5).

Decision No. 420 of the Council of Ministers about the regulation of land use as personal plots and for horticulture ('Dacha' purposes), 1991.

It is decided that land plots alloted to citizens of the Republic of Armenia shall be considered as their property from March 15, 1991 (art. 1). The Decree further regulates plots of land alotted for 'dacha' purposes, i.e. personal plots used for horticulture.
