This Act provides for the creation and management of protected areas, in particular of Natural Environment Recreation Parks, Outdoor Recreation Parks, Community Parks, Wayside Parks, and Historic Parks. The Act also concerns aboriginal land claims settlements (sect. 4), duties and responsibilities of park officers, and the management of parks.
This Act authorizes the Department of Public Safety to close public beaches during potentially hazardous circumstances. Beaches can be closed in case of natural disasters such as typhoons and other tropical storms and abnormal tidal waves and other extreme climatic or environmental conditions. No person shall use any public beach when a notice of closure has been published.
This Act repeals specified Acts and amends others as a consequence of the entry into force of the Lands Acquisition Act 1989. It also provides for transitional arrangements for compulsory acquisition and other matters. Acts here repealed include the Lands Acquisition Act 1955. Acts amended by this Act include the World Heritage Properties Conservation Act 1983, the National Parks and Wildlife Conservation Act 1975 and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders (Queensland Reserves and Communities Self-management) Act 1978.

The Act provides for the designation of land use of the Cook Islands. The 17 sections are divided into 3 Parts: Zoning Orders (I); Land Use Board (II); Administration (III). The High Commissioner may issue Orders to establish zones of land use. The use of land within the created zone shall be pursuant to the Order (sects. 3 and 4). Except in accordance with the terms of the Order, an occupier shall not make any permanent improvement or alteration or erect any building without the prior consent of the Board (sect. 6).
This Act establishes a voluntary national program within the Department of Commerce to encourage coastal States to develop and implement coastal zone management plans. Funds were authorized for cost-sharing grants to States to develop their programs. Each State's plan was required to define boundaries of the coastal zone, to identify uses of the area to be regulated by the State, the mechanism (criteria, standards or regulations) for controlling such uses, and broad guidelines for priorities of uses within the coastal zone.
El presente Ley responde a la necesidad de introducir un conjunto de modificaciones puntuales en la legislación vigente en materia de medio ambiente, en relación a la protección de los animales, la gestión de espacios naturales, el acceso motorizado al medio natural, el procedimiento de evaluación de impacto ambiental de proyectos, y el proceso de adecuación de las actividades de incidencia ambiental a lo establecido en la Ley de la intervención integral de la Administración ambiental.
This Act makes provision with respect to the protection and conservation of ancient monuments and related matters such as the acquisition of land by the Government for purposes of this Act. The Minister may, by notice in the Gazette, declare any monument or antiquity to be a protected monument or antiquity within the meaning of this Act and shall establish an Authority to manage and supervise the ancient moments or antiquity. Land shall be aquired for a public purpose within the meaning of the Land Acquisition Act.
La presente Ley tiene por objeto establecer los mecanismos para retribuir a los núcleos agrarios y pequeños productores del Suelo de Conservación (correspondiente a la clasificación establecida en la Ley de Desarrollo Urbano del Distrito Federal) por la protección, conservación o ampliación de los servicios ambientales que brindan a todos los habitantes del Distrito Federal, así como para la realización de actividades productivas vinculadas al desarrollo rural, equitativo y sustentable, acordes con la Ley Ambiental y el Programa General de Ordenamiento Ecológico del Distrito Federal.
This Law, consisting of twelve Chapters, establishes the Law on Standards. It specifies principles, rules, measures regarding the establishment, activities, management, and inspection of standards and technical regulations for products, goods, services, processes, and the environment. To encourage, improve and ensure the production, services, social economic and environment protection in order to have the quality, efficiency, justice and rights, and the legitimate interests and safety of consumers in manufacturing, and will be a factor in managing the nation's economy and development.
The present Law introduces some amendments to the IPPC Hazardous Installation Law (LGBl. No. 20/2001). In particular, the Law adds article 7a on Strategic noise maps, action plans; article 7b on Foreign proceedings, public participation.

This Ordinance establishes the Council for Physical Development and provides rules for town and country planning and development in general in Aruba. The Minister shall prepare a Physical Development Plan, which contains general indications of proposed development. The Plan shall be adopted by State Decree. Directives based on the Plan may determine which development activities may be carried out only with an authorization of the Minister. Such activities may include the mining, the felling of trees, afforestation and cultivation of land and the establishment of waste reception facilities.
