Cette loi régit les rapports entre l'Etat, les régions, les communes, les personnes physiques et les personnes morales au cours de la mise en pratique de la politique de développement, de gestion et de financement des régions de montagne délimitées par la présente loi, c'est à dire les territoires d'une ou de plusieurs communes en voisinage, faisant partie du territoire du pays, où plus de 70% de la superficie a une altitude supérieure à 600 mètres ou la dénivellation entre le point d'altitude minimale et le point d'altitude maximale dépasse 400 mètres.

The objective of this Law is to increase the responsibility of users of natural resources (not defined) for the effective and economical utilization of the national resources which are at their disposal, and to compensate the amount spent by the State on the investigation of natural resources and on the measures implemented for the preservation of the amount and quality thereof. The Department of Environmental Protection of the Republic of Lithuania shall control the validity of tax returns.

This Law is formulated for the purpose of the prevention and control of soil erosion, the protection and rational utilisation of water and soil resources, the mitigation of disasters of flood, drought and sandstorm, the improvement of ecological environment and the development of production. "Water and soil conservation" means preventive and rehabilitative measures taken against soil erosion, which is caused by natural factors or human activities.Chapter I General Provisions, includes the procedures of the water and soil conservation work.

The present Law includes 4 Chapters: Objectives (I): Documents related to the Country Planning, Urbanization and Construction (II); Land Use master Plan (III); Work and construction (IV). It provides for the institution of a National Committee and for issuing provisions aiming at the improvement of both urban and rural areas, the prohibition of building in reserved or protected areas, (including rivers, dams, water reservoirs, parks and forests), the detailed planning of which areas would be involved in construction projects or allocated to agriculture, industry etc.

This Law shall determine types and organizational forms of enterprises, rules of their foundation, registration, re-organization and liquidation, and organizational mechanism to conduct their business under conditions of transition to the market economy. Natural resources shall be possessed and used on a paid basis by enterprises pursuant to the prescribed procedures and when envisaged by Ukrainian legislative acts – on privileged terms. Owners of land and land users shall annually pay fees for land in the form of a land tax or lease payment.

Lease is temporary fee-based possession, use and management on contractual basis of land, other natural resources and property necessary to lessee for carrying out autonomously economic and other activity. The document consists of 4 sections that contain 32 articles. Section 1 (arts. 1-19) lays down general provisions. Section 2 (arts. 20-28) regards lease of enterprises. Section 3 (arts. 29-30) regards lease of property by citizens. Section 4 (arts. 31-32) regards dispute settlement and establishes liability of the subjects of lease relations.

Law No. 7.641 on environmental protection measures of some river basins of São Paulo State.

This Law rules on environmental protection measures to be applied for the following River basins of São Paulo State: Pardo, Moji Guaçu and Médio Grande. Moreover, the Law establishes the guidelines for land use and occupation in the interested areas. The Law indicates the competences and related functions of the Secretary for Environment, the Secretary fro Agriculture, and the secretary for Planning in the implementation of its provisions.

Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 (1990 Chapter 9).

This Act concerns the protection of listed building and the designation and protection of conservation areas. Every local planning authority: (a) shall from time to time determine which parts of their area are areas of special architectural or historic interest the character or appearance of which it is desirable to preserve or enhance, and (b) shall designate those areas as conservation areas. The Secretary of State may from time to time determine any part of a local planning authority's area as a conservation area.

The purpose of this Ordinance is to assist owners of land to protect and manage their land and land based resources for conservation, custom spiritual and amenity purposes. Any owner of land may apply to the Isabel Province Executive for a declaration that part or all of their land be set aside as a Conservation Area (sect. 4). The Executive may declare Conservation Areas under section 5. Section 6 concerns amendment or removal of the status as Conservation Area. A notification of a declaration as Conservation Area shall be published and distributed as prescribed in section 8.

Regional Act No. 24 on territorial environmental plans

The Regional Territorial Environmental Plan shall be composed of the various Territorial Environmental Plans of “Large Areas” (Chapter II), which shall cover elements of a naturalistic interest (biological and physical) as well as elements regarding agricultural production. Article 4 defines the content of the above-mentioned plans, whereas Chapter III deals with the drafting, approval and legal effect of the plans.
