This Act allows the Minister to decide that the boundary of land or of any portion thereof should be more clearly defined or ascertained. For that purpose, the Minister may serve notice on the owner or occupier of any such land requiring him within the period specified in such notice, to clear, define, or otherwise ascertain the boundary of the land to the satisfaction of an official surveyor. A person who fails to comply with the terms of any notice shall be guilty of an offence. In such case the Minister may take or order to be taken such steps as may be required to ensure the execution of any work required by such notice, the cost of which shall be recoverable from the person concerned.
