This Regulation provides for the management of land affairs assessment and settlement in order to mitigate land disputes, conflicts and cases in a bid to realize a land affairs policy for the welfare and justice of the people. This Regulation aims at providing legal certainty about the control, ownership, use and utilization of land in Indonesia.The Regulation further provides for: land affairs issue reporting and information service; authority to nullify land title and registration of land title resulting from conversion; legal aid and protection; etc.
