These Regulations create a single valuation tribunal for Wales, which replaces four tribunals and the valuation tribunal service for Wales. The tribunal will deal with appeals made under the statutory provisions as defined in regulation 3. They are: (a) section 16 (appeals: general) of the Government Finance Act 1992; (b) paragraph 3 of Schedule 3 (penalties) to the Government Finance Act 1992; (c) regulations made under section 24 of the Government Finance Act 1992; (d) regulations made under section 55 of the Government Finance Act 1988; (e) paragraph 4 of Schedule 4A (completion notices) to the Government Finance Act 1988; (f) paragraph 5C of Schedule 9 (civil penalties) to the Government Finance Act 1988; and (g) section 45 of the Land Drainage Act 1991.
