The present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to recording of estates in land. The Land Register is held by the local county courts and deals with the business of registration of legal interests in land. The Land Register consists of Land Register Judges (Grundbuchrichter) and special clerks (Rechtspfleger). The normal business of registration is done by the clerks. The text consists of 150 articles divided into 9 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Entries in the Land Register (II); Mortgage (III); Complaint (IV); Procedure of land registry in special cases (V); Setting-up of land register pages (VI); Computerized Land Register (VII); Electronic legal transactions (VIII); Transitional and final provisions (VIII).
