The FAO Legal Office provides in-house counsel in accordance with the Basic Texts of the Organization, gives legal advisory services to FAO members, assists in the formulation of treaties on food and agriculture, for which the Director-General acts as Depositary, publishes legal studies and maintains a database (FAOLEX) of national legislation and international agreements concerning food and agriculture (including fisheries, forestry and water).

La Déclaration de politique foncière rurale de la Côte d’Ivoire a pour vision «la sécurisation des droits des détenteurs coutumiers, des concessionnaires et des exploitants ». L’objectif général de la politique foncière rurale est d’assurer la sécurisation foncière rurale, en vue de la réduction de la pauvreté en milieu rural, du renforcement de la cohésion sociale et de la gestion durable des ressources naturelles.
Forest Policy for Jamaica 2017.
The Vision of the Forest Policy is that: by 2062, Jamaica’s forests and its biodiversity are sufficiently restored and sustainably managed, so once again the island can adequately be described as “the land of wood and water”, capable of meeting the social, economic and ecological needs of current and future generations.
Crown Resource Land Regulations, 2017 (R.R.S. c. P-31.1 Reg. 2).
The present Regulations are made under the Provincial Lands Act, 2016. In particular, the Regulations lay down provisions relating to Crown resource land referred to in: a) The Forest Resources Management Act; b) The Provincial Lands Act; c) The Natural Resources Act.
National Aboriginal Day Act (S.Y. 2017, c. 1).
Considering that the Constitution of Canada recognizes the existing rights of the Aboriginal Peoples of Canada since they have a long and rich history in Yukon and have made, and continue to make, important contributions to Yukon, it is considered appropriate that there be a day to mark and celebrate these contributions and to recognize the different cultures of the Aboriginal Peoples of Yukon and Canada. In particular, the 21 June of each year shall be known as “National Aboriginal Day” and shall be observed as a holiday. The text consists of 3 sections.
