These Rules specify fees to be paid in respect of applications, certified copies registrations, surveys, etc. done under or carried out for purposes of the Registered Land Ordinance. The Rules also define exemptions from payment of fees.

Physical Planning Board Regulations (Cap. 9.02).
These Regulations concern the administration and decision-making process of the Physical Planning Board established under the Physical Planning Ordinance. The Board shall be responsible, among other things, for the handling of applications for planning permission.

Registered Land Ordinance (Cap. 9.01).
This Ordinance concerns the organization of land registration, the registration of interests in land and related matters and (transfer of) rights in land such as lease, charges and easements. There shall be a Land Register and a Register of Lands shall be appointed. The Ordinance sets out effects of registration and provides for the protection of persons dealing in registered land.

Development Permission Regulations (Cap. 9.02).
These Regulations implement provisions of the Physical Planning Ordinance with respect to applications for: (a) a grant of development permission; (b) permission to demolish or develop a building subject to a building preservation order; (c) permission to cut or remove a plant subject to a Plant Preservation Order; and (d) the right to subdivide land. Schedule 1 sets out the forms to be used in respect of the various applications, decisions, requirements and other matters to facilitate the administration of the Ordinance.
Coast Protection Ordinance (Cap. 85).
This Ordinance prohibits certain activities on land bordering on the sea or any tidal water and having its seaward boundary at the low water mark. It shall be prohibited to remove sand and other material without a licence granted by the Governor under this Ordinance and to deposit offensive substances or litter on the coast.
