Gloria Pallares is a journalist reporting on sustainable development from Africa and Europe. Her work has been published in leading media outlets, including El Pais, Forbes and The World Policy Institute (NY). Drawing on her experience as Analyst with the UN Mission in South Sudan, she also delivers guest lectures at Masters in Journalism. Prior to her journalistic career and as part of her scientific background, Gloria conducted research on agroforestry and land use in Kenya in collaboration with CGIAR. She holds a BSc in Journalism from Ramon Llull University (URL), an MSc in Biology by the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) and a BSc in Biotechnology by the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB).
