Le présent décret a pour objectif de protéger l'environnement en réduisant la pollution de l'eau provoquée par ou découlant de nitrates ou de phosphates de sources agricoles, en prévenant les pollutions de ce type, en contribuant à la mise en place d'un bon système d'écoulement des eaux et à la limitation de la pollution de l'air comme conséquence de la production et de l'utilisation d'engrais.

This Decision approves the master plan on the socio-economic development of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.The plan aims at developing Ba Ria-Vung Tau into an industrial province strong in marine economy with a system of national and international commercial ports, and into an industrial, touristic and fisheries centre of the region. The socio-economic development shall be achieved on the basis of protecting, regenerating and enriching marine, forest, land and water resources, protecting the environment, particularly ecological and marine.

These provisions amend the Waste Management (Landfill) Regulations by supplementing regulation 6, which specifies the wastes that may not be accepted in a landfill. In particular, hospital and other clinical waste arising from medical or veterinary establishments shall not be accepted.

This Act establishes the Coastal Resources Management Office, the Coastal Advisory Council and an Appeals Board, defines functions and powers of these government agencies, defines the coastal resources management policy of the Northern Mariana Islands and provides in respect of control of activities affecting the coast and coastal resources of the Northern Mariana Islands.Among objectives of coastal resources management policy are the protection of fish and wildlife resources and the prevention of damage to the environment.

In order to keep the waters as indicated in article 3 of the Brandenburg Water Law, the present Law establishes water and soil associations as listed in article 1. The Regulation of the Minister of Environment, which is composed of 25 paragraphs and 11 Annexes, specifies: the conditions to be fulfilled to release sewage into water or land; the conditions concerning the agricultural use of sewage; place and frequency of sewage testing, referential methods of analysis and procedure for verifying if the conditions are fulfilled; substances particularly harmful to water environment, causing water pollution which should be eliminated or limited. The list of such substances is defined in Annex 11.

The present Ordinance implements the Council Directive 91/676/EEC concerning the protection of waters against pollution caused by nitrates from agricultural sources. In particular, it implements article 5 according to which member states have to 1) establish a code of good agricultural practice, to be implemented by farmers on a voluntary basis; b) set up where necessary a programme, including the provision of training and information for farmers, promoting the application of the code of good agricultural practice.
