MANILA, April 1 (Reuters) - Philippine police opened fire as a protest by thousands of rice farmers who lost their crops turned violent on Friday, killing one and wounding about a dozen, a leader of a farming group said.
The Mekong Region Land Governance (MRLG) is looking for a full-time Information Platform Coordinator to lead the Mekong Land Information Knowledge and Engagement Platform (M-LIKE).
The Mekong Land Information Knowledge and Engagement Platform (M-LIKE) is dedicated to bringing together communities, private sector, government officials and civil society organizations to dialogue around new knowledge and solutions so as to ensure the secure land tenure of small holders in Lao, Cambodia, Viet Nam and Myanmar.

Residents of Kirimon in Samburu Central Sub-County have demonstrated over what they say is illegal grabbing of 10,000 acres of public land meant to benefit their community.
The angry residents accused the Samburu County government of taking too long to handover Kelele holding ground land to the Kirimon group ranch after approval by the defunct county council.
