Ce document, Cadre global d’action pour réaliser la Vision pour la gouvernance des eaux souterraines, est le dernier d’une longue série de documents produits par le projet ‘Gouvernance des eaux souterraines: Un Cadre global d’action’ (2011-2016). Il constitue un des trois principaux documents préparés pendant la phase finale du projet; les deux autres étant le ‘Diagnostic global de la Gouvernance des eaux souterraines’ et une ‘Vision globale commune pour la gouvernance des eaux souterraines en 2030.’

A medium-size report that describes the overall situation of data on fuelwood in Burundi. The report starts with a general introduction of the study and the country. It is followed by a section describing the forest area, its uses and the legislation surrounding it. The following part states the country's forest resources distinguishing natural from artificial forests. Some attention is given to non-wood forest products and sustainable forest ecosystems. The latter parts are a view of the institutional and political atmospheres as well as the effects of the crisis on forest ecosystems.

This seven-page country report is short but identifies the current situation of data collection in the country. The first part describes the overall situation as well as the main wood products of the country. The second part describes the main institutions involved in the overall collection, analysis and dissemination process of the data related to these products followed by some production figures. The third part of the report presents an evaluation of the data while the fourth part suggests some measures to improve the overall statistical process.
