The Eastern Africa Social Science Research Review (EASSRR) is a bi-annual journal published by the Organization for Social Science Research in Eastern Africa (OSSREA). Since the publication of its maiden issue in January 1985, the EASSRR has been serving as a regional forum for reflective thinking and critical discourse on the economic, political, and social aspects as well as development issues of the countries and sub-regions within the Eastern and Southern African Region

AFRA is a land rights advocacy non-governmental organisation (NGO) working since 1979 to support marginalised black rural people, with a focus on farm dwellers. We are working towards an inclusive, gender equitable society where rights are valued, realised and protected, essential services are delivered, and land tenure is secure. We work intensively with communities in and around the uMgungundlovu District Municipality in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, and extensively in offering support and advice.

Tshintsha Amakhaya is a civil society alliance for land and food justice in South Africa. Rural women and men stand united in solidarity to advance their rights and secure livelihoods.

Mission: Transkei Land Services Organisation advocates for and facilities equal, secured access to land and other natural resources to promote land rights and sustainable livelihoods for resource poor rural communities in the Eastern Cape.

LAMOSA is an independent Community Based Organization (CBO) advocating for land and agrarian rights, and substantive democracy through facilitating sustainable development. 

LAMOSA was established in 1991 to mobilize disposed communities to collectively fight discriminatory colonial and apartheid land laws, racial and gender discrimination and poverty. LAMASO in partnership with the government and Civil Society Organization (CSO) work in four provinces- Limpopo, Mpumalanga, Northwest and Gauteng provinces.

O Centro de Estudos, Articulação e Referência sobre Assentamentos Humanos – CEARAH Periferia – é uma organização não governamental sem fins lucrativos, criada em 1991, que atua principalmente em Fortaleza e Região Metropolitana (CE-Brasil). Filiado à Associação Brasileira de Organizações Não Governamentais (Abong) e membro do Conselho Nacional das Cidades.

A Confederação Nacional das Associações de Moradores, fundada no dia 17 de janeiro de 1982, presente no movimento nacional popular e comunitário, tem como seu papel organizar as federações estaduais, uniões municipais e associações comunitárias, entidades de bairro e similares.

A Fundação Centro de Defesa dos Direitos Humanos Bento Rubião (FCDDHBR), com sede no Rio de Janeiro, é uma organização não-governamental sem fins lucrativos que visa a redução das desigualdades sociais e atende grupos populacionais que têm seus direitos humanos violados por causa de sua condição étnico-racial, socioeconômica ou de gênero. Tem como objetivo maior empoderá-los, tendo em vista sua missão institucional, a qual, além da defesa dos direitos humanos, inclui o apoio à luta e organização popular em busca do autodesenvolvimento.

O Espaço Feminista do Nordeste para a Democracia e Direitos Humanos é uma associação civil de direito privado, sem fins lucrativos, não partidária. O Espaço Feminista é uma organização não governamental feminista sediada em Recife, capital do estado de Pernambuco.
