This Part of the Statute Law Revision Act 2011 amends the Lands Act 1976 in the Third Schedule by inserting a note after clause 4: "The freehold title to land acquired for use as an aerodrome under the Aerodrome (Acquisition of Land) Act 1952 was transferred to the Administration in 1952 (and on Independence, that land was vested in the Republic). The former landowners of that land are entitled under section 6(2) of that Act to receive annual compensation in perpetuity of the amount which would be payable under clause 4 of this Schedule if the land were leased.".

These Regulations implement provisions of the Flood-Water Control Act in relation with claims for compensation to be made under the Act. A claim for compensation in relation with waterworks for purposes of a floodwater control scheme shall be in Form A and shall be supported by all the evidence available to establish the legal ownership of the land in respect of which the claim is made.

The present Law implements the Environment Frame Act of 29 June 1990. Article 1 of the above-mentioned Law establishes the Institute for release of remediation responsibility in view of contaminated sites. The Institute is competent for decisions on application on release of remediation responsibility in view of contaminated sites. These Regulations make amendments consequential to the coming into force of the Localism Act 2011. Schedule 2 to this Order makes amendments consequential to the provisions of section 232 of the Localism Act 2011, which amends Parts II and III of the Land Compensation Act 1961 in relation to certificates of appropriate alternative development and assessment of compensation. Schedule 3 makes an amendment to Schedule 8 to thee Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004, which makes transitional provision in relation to old plans and policies.
