Land information system (LIS) is a convenient tool in the legal, administrative and economic decision-making process. The data of LIS includes: cartographic basis of spatial land datasets, thematic spatial land datasets and a variety of important information from the cadastre, registers and information systems. Lithuanian Land Information System is a developed and expanding field of information technology, which could be more used by the public users of Lithuania and other countries.

This Technical Note provides a guide for rounding numbers used in the agreement, narrative and tables of Watershed Work Plans and River Basin Reports. Rounded numbers improve appearance and creditability, and reduces errors and conflicts. Ideas presented herein and in the attachments can serve as a guide. However, they will not rule out the necessity for prudent judgment in each case. Therefore, in review of the examples attached, recognize that rodding of values for a particular Watershed Work Plan must be tailored for that particular plan.

About methodology of state regulation of market of agricultural lands
The problems of agricultural land (AL) market state regulation have been analyzed, including the shortcomings of the new law concerning withdrawal of land plots from lands of agricultural purpose in case of non-use of them for the intended purpose. The law considers land as the land of natural and legal persons, but not concern land shares, which occupy in the structure of vacant land of about 50%. This gap needs to be bridged. A more careful approach is needed for the identification and definition of cadastral cost of land.
