The manual systems of maintaining land records in India are as diverse as the country itself. The traditional methods have been changing over the years in each state according to local practices and traditions. The procedure for recording transfer and ownership of lands, shares and inheritance is generally based on a particular Identity number for each plot of land. Revenue assessment and agricultural yield related data are also recorded against that specific identification number.

La plupart des levés cadastraux dans le pays sont établis par la Division des levés et de la cartographie. Les textes législatifs portent création d'un poste de géometre autorise, habilite également à exécuter les levés cadastraux, mais pour le moment il n'y en a pas dans le pays.

Cette évolution qui est normale n'en est encore, en particulier au Niger qu'a ses débuts et le législateur s'est préoccupé de favoriser une évolution harmonieuse et ordonnée de la tenure coutumière vers la constitution d'une véritable propriété foncière africaine, facteur de développement économique et social des populations.

The science of "survey" was known to ancient Egyptians. Drawings and

paintings on the walls of temples and tombs, and writings on papyrus, prove that ancient. Egyptians practiced surveying long ago. Paintings on the temples of Thebe display land-surveyors using linear instruments.

Ce fut le premier levé cadastral complet effectué en Egypte sur des bases juridiques et topographiques valables. Les levés antérieurs consistaient à mesurer.

Most of the Cadastral surveys in the country are done by the survey and mapping division. In the laws, there is a provision for a licensed surveyor who may also carry out cadastral; surveys, but at present there is none in the country.

The Kenya Registered Land Act was passed in 1963 had to ;take into account and be reconciled with no fewer than five ordinances which already made provision for land, registration in some form or other.

Le régime de l'immatriculation foncière repose sur le printsipe de la

publicité réelle et par conséquent individualise chaque propriété en la de terminant physiquement et juridiquement.

L'immatriculation est un système superieur aux deux autres, pour la principale raison que l'enregistrement est fondé non pas sur les documents ni sur les être humains qui sont appels à changer de place et sont sujets à des erreurs d'identité, mails sur les parcelles de terre qui sont immuables, indestructibles et que l'on peut définir avec précision.

L'origine du cadastre tchécoslovaque remonte à plusieurs siècles et l'on Peut en retracer l'histoire jusqu'au Moyen Age. Après diverses tentatives d'exploitation des données cartographiques et des documents relatifs aux titres de propriété une ordonnance a été promulgué en 1817 sur l'établissement d'un cadastre permanent.
