Soil Conservation Regulations No. 01 of 2009.

These Regulations, consisting of 13 sections and two Schedules, applies to cultivate agricultural land the Conservation areas, declared by Order published in Gazette Extraordinary No. 1550/9 of 22 May 2008, as specified in the Schedule to these regulations. They establish requirements to that a person shall not cultivate annual crops on any land area, which consists of a slope of more than sixty 60%.

Article 5 shall be amended to add the following wording: “Proclamation of natural complexes and sites nature monuments and areas where they are located protected areas shall be performed by decision of Regional Government. Resolution on wind power stations in protected areas.

This Resolution sets forth principles and guidelines of application for wind power stations in protected areas. This Regulation underlines that the applications will be evaluated by the Regional Committees for preservation of natural heritage, in accordance with the scientific reports. The protected areas are divided into two categories, such as (i) sensitive areas with high protection and (ii) protected areas with sustainable use of natural resource.

Article 31 shall be amended to add the following wording: “In strict state reserves, it shall be prohibited to alter the conservational principal designation of land use. Regional state nature reserve “Dolgaya polyana” (Long clearing) shall be classified as complex, constituted with a view of conservation of natural ecosystems and objects of historical and cultural heritage of regional significance. The following activities shall be prohibited: (a) land reclamation and irrigation; (b) soil disturbance; (c) all types of hunting; (d) gathering of zoological, botanical and mineral collections; (e) application of toxic chemicals, mineral fertilizers and pesticides; and (f) burning of vegetation.
