This Act concerns rural land. The Act consists of 15 sections divided into 4 Parts: Preliminary (I); Acquisition and Alienation of State Land (II); Occupation of Land by Person Other Than Owner Not Involving Subdivision (III); General (IV).Communal land and other specified types of land are excluded from the operation of this Act (sect. 3). Section 5 provides for the acquisition of land by the State; section 6 for the alienation of State land.

These Regulations amend the Nitrates Action Programme Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2014 in regard to penalties and the measures concerning land management and record keeping. Regulation 22 is amended to include all crops other than grass and use of appropriate measures when a subsequent crop cannot be sown (measures to prevent erosion of the soil). Regulation 23 is amended to remove restrictions applying only to late harvested crops. Regulation 30 is amended to make non-compliance with Regulations 22 and 24 an offence without a reasonable excuse.

These Regulations provide, for purposes of implementation of the give effect to Irelands Second Nitrates Action Programme, rules relative to good agricultural practice to protect waters against pollution from agricultural sources and prescribe measures for these purposes, including: periods when land application of fertilizers is prohibited; limits on the land application of fertilizers; storage requirements for livestock manure; and monitoring of the effectiveness of the measures in terms of agricultural practice and impact on water quality.

This Act promotes sustainable development and management of agricultural land in regards to the preservation of environmental and landscape values. All agricultural land in rural and urban areas listed with farming obligation, must be used for agricultural purposes. The Minister for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries shall determine which plant species are considered unfitted due to risk of crops damaging. Owners or operators of agricultural lands shall keep their land free from trees and shrubs.

Paragraph 3 of the Article 12 of the Law of the RSFSR on peasant farm acquires a new wording. It reads as follows: « Citizens that set up peasant farm for the first time are exempted from payment of land charges for the period of 5 years beginning from the moment of the allotment of the plots of land. The amount, conditions and terms of payment of land charges are determined by contract. »

Ce règlement vise à réduire la pollution des eaux provoquéé ou induite par les nitrates à partir de fertilisants organiques et prévenir toute nouvelle pollution de ce type; réduire ou prévenir les nuisances causées par l'épandage de fertilisants organiques. L'article 2 contient la définition de certains termes employés comme, parmi d'autres, "composé azoté", "animaux", "engrais chimique", "effluent d'élevage". L'article 3 indique les autorités competentes.

Regional Law No. 1961-ZRK “On minimum and maximum land plot area allotted for farming”.

This Regional Law establishes that maximum land plot area of agricultural land allotted for farming shall not exceed 30 ha, while minimum land plot area allotted for farming shall vary from 0,25 ha to 2,7 ha depending upon availability of agricultural land and decision by local self-government.

This Regional Law sets forth the modalities of allotment of plots of land in ownership to citizens free of charge for gardening, horticulture, subsistence farming, family farming and commercial farming, to citizens with three children under age, citizens with disabled children and specialists in agricultural professions with university degree under age of 35 years working in rural areas. It establishes also minimum and maximum agricultural land area of plots of land that can be allotted in ownership free of charge.

These Regulations amend the Nitrate Pollution Prevention Regulations 2008 so as to provide for revised designations of areas of land in England identified as nitrate vulnerable zones for the purposes of Council Directive 91/676/EEC concerning the protection of waters against pollution caused by nitrates from agricultural sources.

The purpose of this Act is to regulate provisions regarding transfer of lands to individuals in order to make efficient use of water and fertile soil, as well as leading the country to self-sufficiency. In particular, it should be noted that rights of the people on fruitful lands should be respected. Exploitation of the natural woods and forests are exclusive rights of the Government. The Government may assign abandoned lands to individuals for agricultural purpose. Indigenous people and persons with knowledge in agriculture are considered as a priority.

This Regional Law establishes that public or municipal land plot can be allotted free of charge on condition of tenancy for maximum period of six year for residential housing construction or family farming to certain categories of agricultural specialists (list of professions included).
