This Act provides rules for the registration of rights in land in the Seychelles. There shall be a Land Registry and an (appointed) Land Registrar. The Act also concerns the effect of registration, conversion of qualified title into absolute title, co-ownership and partition of land, registration of rights held by foreigners and the form of transfer of various rights in lands. The provisions of this Act shall apply to usufructuary interests in the same manner as they apply to leases.

This Law, consisting of seven Titles divided into 84 articles, establishes the general basis for policies on public soils, land use and urbanism. This Law does not apply to planning and management of the national maritime areas, without prejudice to the coherence, coordination and harmonization of soil policy and land use planning with policy on planning and management of the national maritime space.

This Act makes provision for a wide variety of matters regarding public and private land and community land (as defined respectively by Articles 62, 63, 64 and 260 of the Constitution), and in particular provides of the sustainable administration and management of land and land-based resources. It also provides for (compulsory) acquisition of land.

This Act is composed of 20 chapters and it is divided into 148 articles.

An Act to provide for the classification and administration of public land, and to regulate use of and the disposal of such land and and the acquisition of other land and related matters. The Minister may by order made under section 10 classify public land and declare the use for which he considers different classes to be adaptable.

The present Act provides for the designation of areas to be parts of provincial parks and provides for the management of such parks. The Act covers also the appointment and powers of park wardens, the protection of flora, prospecting and mining and enforcement measures. The text consists of 23 sections and 1 Schedule.

The present Law lays down provisions relating to the right of wood and pasture exploitation in the Region of Carinthia. This Land Law, consisting of 14 Chapters, divided into 223 articles, establishes the legal regime for land management, in particular for constitution, exercise, modification, transmission and extinction of the right of land use and exploitation within the State of the Special Administrative Region of Macau, (called RAEM).

La presente Ley tiene por objeto las modalidades especiales del contrato de compraventa de la cosecha, la regulación de los derechos y obligaciones de las partes relativas al cultivo, recolección y al acceso a las fincas cuyas cosechas se han comprado, junto a la positivización y actualización de la costumbre.

El presente Decreto Ley autoriza la entrega de tierras estatales ociosas en concepto de usufructo gratuito y por tiempo determinado a personas naturales o jurídicas, que no pueden ser transferidas a terceros, para que las exploten racional y sosteniblemente atendiendo a la aptitud de los suelos, en función de la producción agropecuaria, forestal y de frutales. La extensión máxima que puede entregarse en usufructo a personas naturales que no posean tierras en ningún concepto es de 13,42 hectáreas.

Article 1 of the above-mentioned Law establishes that the right of passage allows persons, animals and their appurtenances to pass over somebody else’s property. The said right is granted by the Agricultural Office.
