This Law may be cited as the compulsory expropriation (Amendment) Act 2014 and shall be read together with the Compulsory expropriation Laws of 1962-2006 (hereinafter referred to as the "basic law") and may be referred collectively as the compulsory expropriation laws of 1962 to 2014. Paragraph (o) of Article 10 of the basic Law is amended as follows: (a) by replacing the word "nine" (second line) with the word "three" and (b) by replacing the semicolon at the end of this first phrase with colon and adding the following provisions: compensation to be paid in connection with acquisition of real property, for which the relevant expropriation notice is published before the date of entry into force of the compulsory expropriation (Amendment) Law of 2014, continuing to pay annual interests of nine per cent from the date of publication of the notice of expropriation, until the entry into force of this Act.
