Order No. 509 of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food validating the Regulation setting forth the procedure for management of State Geodetic Reference Coordinates System USC-2000 in the process of performance of land survey works.

This Order sets forth the procedure for management of State Geodetic Reference Coordinates System USC-2000 in the process of performance of land survey works that is mandatory for staff performing land survey works. Application of State Geodetic Reference Coordinates System USC-2000 shall be based upon the following principles: (a) use of international experience in the implementation of geodetic reference system coordinates; (b) application of rigorous mathematical methods for providing coordinate transformation from low-precision coordinate systems to high-precision coordinates; (c) consideration of the administrative-territorial structure of Ukraine; and (d) use of the existing normative-technical and program-methodical infrastructure of the State Land Cadastre.
