The FAO Legal Office provides in-house counsel in accordance with the Basic Texts of the Organization, gives legal advisory services to FAO members, assists in the formulation of treaties on food and agriculture, for which the Director-General acts as Depositary, publishes legal studies and maintains a database (FAOLEX) of national legislation and international agreements concerning food and agriculture (including fisheries, forestry and water).

This Government Regulation amends several articles of Government Regulation of the R.I. No. 71 of 2014 on Protection and Management of Ecosystem of Peat lands. Amendments deal with several aspects of the above mentioned Regulation, such as: requirements, definitions of Peat ecosystem which is a peat element structure which is an integral whole that affects each other in shaping the balance, stability, productivity, etc. Hydrological Unity Peat is a peat ecosystem located between two rivers, between rivers and seas and/or on swamps.

Act amending the Building Act.

The present Act introduces some amendments to the Building Act of 11 December 2008. In particular, the Act amends article 51 establishing that provided that the safety and exposure are ensured and the adjacent stocking is not impaired by the structural measures, the building authority can grant a forest distance reduced to 7.00 m. Article 66, paragraph is repealed.
