The first article of the present law brings forth amendments throughout the text of the Code on expropriation of immovable property in order to comply with the provisions of the Greek Constitution. In particular, a new article (article 7a) is added to the Code, dealing with the procedures governing the conduct of the act of expropriation. The second and last article sets out the entry into force of such amendments.

In accordance with article 17 of Law No. 3844/2010 and Community Directive 2006/123/EC on the provision of services in the internal market, as well as with articles 197, 198 and 199 of Law No. 4072/2012, this Decree establish the right to Community providers of immovable property services (real estate) to extend their operations beyond their national borders and to operate in the Greek national territory with out being established in Greece.
