The present Act encourages private landowners, conservation organizations and governments to protect ecologically sensitive lands and natural areas through voluntary agreements.
Land Titles Regulations, 2001 (R.R.S. c. L-5.1 Reg. 1).
The present Regulations provide for the enactment of the Land Titles Act. The Regulations apply to transactions and any other matters regulated by the Act and these regulations that have effect or that may have effect in an area of Saskatchewan that the Lieutenant Governor in Council has designated pursuant to section 191 of the Act as an area to which the Act applies.
Land Surveys Regulations (R.R.S. c. L-4.1 Reg. 1).
The present Regulations provide for the enactment of the Land Surveys Act. In particular, the Regulations apply to all lands in Saskatchewan: a) that are located in an area of Saskatchewan that the Lieutenant Governor in Council has designated pursuant to section 87 of the Act as an area to which the Act applies; and b) that are within the legislative competence of the Legislature.
Expropriation (Rehabilitation Projects) Act (R.S.S. 1978, c. E-17).
The purpose of the present Act is to provide for the acquisition of land required for the rehabilitation of drought and soil drifting areas. Section 3 establishes that the Minister may, by surveyors, engineers, foremen, agents, workmen and servants, enter upon and take possession of any land, in whomsoever vested, that may be required for or in connection with any project. However, the Minister shall make due compensation to the parties entitled thereto for land taken away. The text consists of 5 sections.
