These Rules implement provisions of the Registered Land Act by, among other things: prescribing forms for purposes of the Act; providing with respect to verification of instruments for purposes of section 105 of the Act by persons specified in the Fifth Schedule other than the Registrar; providing with respect to fees required to be paid under the Act; listing certain clauses that shall be considered to be included by agreement in a charge regarding land or lease; and requiring a charge created by a company registered under the Companies Act to be registered under that Act as a prerequisite
General Notice made under the Registered Land Act (Cap. 58:01).
This Notice of the Minister, made under the section 6 of Registered Land Act appoints the Commissioner for Lands to be Chief Land Registrar for the purposes of that Act.

Control of Land (Dwambazi Forest Reserve) Order (Cap. 57:01).
This Order, made under section 31 of the Land Act, provides that on the land described in the First Schedule no control person shall, without the prior consent of the Minister or his or her authorized representative: (a) make any new garden; (b) plant any tree or shrub; (c) erect any building of any description whatsoever. The Order also provides for powers of authorized officers in proceedings under section 36 (1) of the Act against any person who has trespassed or encroached upon public land or is in unlawful use or occupation of such land.
Control of Land (Pwadzi Protected Areas) Order (Cap. 57:01).
This Order, made under section 31 of the Land Act, provides that, on the land described in the Schedule to this Order, no person shall without the prior consent of the Minister or his or her authorized representative: (a) make any new garden (b) plant any tree or shrub; (c) erect any building of any description whatsoever; or (d) cut any tree or vegetation except resident’s own domestic use.

Order made under section 41 of the Land Act (Cap. 57:01).
This Order of the Minister, made pursuant to section 41 of the Land Act, delegates to the Secretary for Agriculture and Natural Resources the exercise and performance of all the powers, functions and duties conferred upon the Minister by section 40 of that Act. Section 40 provides that, in any proceedings before a court in which the question arises as to whether or not any land is public land, private land or customary land, a certificate purporting to be signed by the Minister shall be prima facie proof that the land is public land, private land or customary land, as the case may be.
