Context Pastoralism obeys logics that are sometimes misunderstood by public decision-makers and that are at the origin of many interventions that are often inappropriate. The controversial effects of pastoral public policies are accentuated by several exogenous and endogenous hazards.

Contexte et justification :Les écosystèmes de la Forêt classée de la fosse de Doungh (FCFD) au Togo ont subi une dégradation très alarmante menaçant la survie de cet écosystème vitale. Disposer des connaissances sur diversité floristique et la structure des formations végétales contribuerait à la mise en œuvre d’un plan de gestion et de restauration de cette forêt classée.But et objectifs :Cette étude est une contribution à la gestion et à la restauration des écosystèmes forestiers de la FCFD, dans la Préfecture de Tandjouaré au Togo.

Context and background:Reconciling the sectoral interests of urban planning and agriculture is a challenge. The idyllic ambition to plan the city while enhancing agricultural land through a planning tool is subject to conflicts of use and divergent stakeholder logics.Goal and objectives:This study highlights the problem of conflicts between urban planning and agricultural land. The aim is to identify ways of objectifying and rationalizing the planning process in order to regulate these conflicts.

Vulnerability And Access To Land In The Commune Of Diama

Youth transition in the common bean ( Phaseolus vulgaris L.) value chain remains low in Ghana and Cameroon despite the potential of the bean sub-sector in reducing poverty, unemployment, and undernutrition. This study compared youth transition in the bean value chain in Ghana and Cameroon. It investigated how intersectional elements, including age, influence the uptake of bean production among the youth in these two countries. Data were collected from 266 participants from Ghana and 84 from Cameroon. The data were collected through focus group discussions (FGD) and in-depth interviews.

The source of data used to estimate the e-flow requirement in Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Indicator 6.4.2 (level of water stress: freshwater withdrawal as a proportion of available freshwater resources) is the Global Environmental Flow Information System (GEFIS), an online tool produced and managed by the International Water Management Institute (IWMI).
