The scope of this Law shall be to protect public interests with a view of ensuring territorial integrity, national, economic and energetic security, social protection of the population, environmental protection, rational management of natural resources and conservation of historical and cultural heritage.

This Act makes provision for the appointment by the Governor-General of the Registrar General, the Deputy Registrar General and Assistant Registrars General and provides that Departments of the Registrar General and of the Registrar of Records shall be controlled and administered as one under the management of the Registrar General.

These Regulations, made in terms of section 9(9) of the Deeds Registries Act, amend the Regulations in terms of the Deeds Registries Act by substituting for the Schedule specifying fees for services a new Schedule attached to these Regulations.

This Act requires the Registrar appointed by the Governor under section 66C(1) of the Virgin Islands (Constitution) Order, 1976 to Register of Interests established under that same section. This Register, in which interests in moveable and immovable property are registered, may be inspected for public purposes.

The present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the operating of the Land Register. In particular, article 1 of the afore-mentioned Ordinance establishes that the Canton Aargau shall operate the Land Register and its other related registers by means of computer science. The text consists of 10 articles.

This Decree provides for: a) the acquisition of real estate assets for State use; b) the lease of real estate assets for use by specified state agencies; c) possession and transfer of possession of State real estate assets; d) management and use of State real estate assets; e) registration of State real estate assets; and f) lease of State real estate assets to other State agencies and institutions and third parties.

Item 2 shall be amended to add the following wording: “2. Subsidies shall be allocated for cadastre work in the process of legalization of ownership of peasant farms to the plots of agricultural land.”

The Parties have agreed to cooperate in the following fields: (a) topographic, geodetic and cartographic activity; (b) publishing of maps; (c) aerial survey of the territory and exchange of distant zoning data; (d) exchange of geodetic and geographic information; and (e) exchange and training of staff and experts.

El presente Acuerdo declara de necesidad e interés público la actualización y perfeccionamiento del Catastro Nacional Multifinalitario con el propósito de garantizar la seguridad jurídica y la función social de la tierra mediante la reducción de la ocupación extralegal de tierras.

La presente Resolución aprueba el Texto Único Ordenado del Reglamento General de los Registros Públicos con la finalidad de establecer los procedimientos para la aplicación de la Ley que crea el Sistema Nacional de los Registros Públicos.
