Luego de muchos años, por fin la comunidad ashéninka de Alto Tamaya-Saweto recibió el título de propiedad de sus tierras. Tuvieron que pasar once años (la solicitud de titulación se presentó en el año 2003) para que la Dirección Regional Agraria otorgue, mediante una resolución directoral, el título de propiedad de la comunidad (21 de julio de 2015) y que fuera notificada la comunidad el 19 de agosto último.
