These Regulations list in the Schedule the prescribed bodies for the purposes of section 15(2) of the Cadastral Survey Act 2011. These bodies shall be exempted from payment of a fee for access to the digital cadastral database (DCDB).

This Regulation, consisting of 6 Chapters, establishes competencies, duties and responsibilities of delegation of authority to issue land titles and land registration. It governs the authority responsible for granting land title and land registration. The Heads of the National Land Agency shall be the authority responsible for regulating the right of use of land, such as: rights for freehold titles, for exploiting land, rights for cultivation titles, right for building, etc.

The present Regulation is made under the Land Title Act. In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to the adoption on behalf of indigenous people of the Torrens System, a land registration system in which the government is the keeper of all land and title records and a land title serves as a certificate of full, indefeasible, and valid ownership. The text consists of 1 section and 3 Schedules.

This Regional Law regulates relations in the sphere of conservation, management , promotion and state protection of the objects of cultural heritage and is aimed at ensuring constitutional right of citizens related to access to cultural heritage. Objects of cultural heritage shall be considered immovable property and shall include natural landscapes, recreational urban forests and parks. Land within the boundaries of territories of cultural heritage recorded in the public register of the objects of cultural heritage shall be considered land of historical and cultural heritage.

This Regional Law establishes legal status of slide areas, establishes boundaries of land areas where slide processes could originate. Slide processes shall be intended movement of rockslide under the impact of gravitation forces. A special conservation, maintenance and land-use planning regime shall be applicable to each slide area. Validated boundaries of slide areas shall be recorded in state land cadastre.

The present Act lays down provisions relating to possibilities on behalf of land owners to enter an agreement with the competent land authorities of British Columbia to obtain postponement of the payment of land tax. Section 2 establishes that the Minister may make an agreement with an owner who qualifies under this Act permitting the owner to defer paying all or part of the tax payable on the eligible property during the term of the agreement.
