Crofting Register (Fees) (Scotland) Order 2012 (S.S.I. No. 295 of 2012).

This Order establishes fees payable for the registration of a croft, common grazing or land held runrig in the Crofting Register, the updating and rectification of registration schedules in that register and in respect of provision by the Keeper of the Registers of Scotland of searches, reports, certificates, copies or information from the Crofting Register. The Order also provides for the reduction of fees in certain circumstances.

This Order prescribes the form of a public notice required to be give by applicant for first registration of a croft, common grazing or land held runrig in the Crofting Register under section 12(8) of the Crofting Reform (Scotland) Act 2010. Such notice shall be placed in local newspapers and on the land in question.

Geo-Data User Ordinance.

The present Ordinance enforces the Geo-Data Access Act. In particular, the Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the providing of spatial data, spatial data and metadata services on behalf of spatial data holding agencies. Article 2 established that that such data may be: 1) reproduced, printed, presented, changed, edited and shared with third parties; 2) linked to own data as to become a new and independent data; 3) integrated in non public electronic networks. The text consists of 5 articles.

This Regional Law regulates relations related to mining, management of mining waste, peat, groundwater and other specific mineral resources. It shall be applicable to subsoil parcels containing solid minerals, including widespread minerals, and subsoil parcels used for purposes non-related to exploration and mining. State supervision over subsoil management shall be carried out with a view of law enforcement. Subsoil parcels shall be conceded for exploration and mining in the form of mining allotment in accordance with licence.

The Order sets regulations on the Land Consolidation Commission’s responsibilities and composition of its 12 members elected every four years. The members (President, 2 Vice Presidents, 3 qualified assessors nominated by the Director of the Danish AgriFish Agency recommended by the Ministry of Business and Growth, 3 qualified agriculture specialists nominated by the Director of the Danish AgriFish Agency and recommended by the Danish Agriculture & Food Council, and 3 municipal members nominated by the Danish AgriFish Agency nominated by the Local Government Authorities).

These Rules amend the Registered Land Rules in the Fourth Schedule which specifies fees for: an application for a Land Certificate or a certificate of Lease; an application for any instrument to be prepared in the Registry; an application for registration of any transfer; an application for registration of or filing of any instrument, other than a transfer, discharge of a charge or removal of a caution; an application for the discharge of a charge or removal of a caution; opening a new register consequent upon partition, subdivision or combination; and searches of the register or copies.

This Act provides rules relative to the making, registration, validity and effects of agricultural contracts. An “agricultural contract” means an agreement whereby a contractor is let into possession of a parcel of land by the owner for the purpose of bringing such parcel of land into cultivation or for the bona fide purpose of extending the cultivation on the land, in accordance with the terms of such agreement, and includes all contracts whether registered or unregistered, but shall not include any agreement relating to the cultivation of sugarcane.

This Act provides rules for the practice and activities of surveyors designated in writing by the Minister. The activities are related to surveying by such surveyors on private land. The Minister may by Notification direct that the boundaries of lands within such limits as are defined in the Notification shall be demarcated under this Act. Upon the Notification, the Director of Surveys or an authorized Licensed Land Surveyor may enter upon the relevant lands and do all things necessary for the demarcation of the boundaries of such lands.
